63 years ago on June 6, 1944 allied forces invaded northwest Europe.
Approximately 9,000 allied soldiers were killed that day while the German casualties are estimated between 4,000-9,000. While on a walk today I found this home proudly displaying their flag and felt it would be a good PaD.
