I set my alarm for 4:30 AM but did not get out of bed until 5:15 AM. Once I showered and dressed I headed for the ELC and made the 3 mile loop. I wore my wind breaker and glad I did as a slight breeze from the north brought on a chill. I met these two deer on the far east side of the center as they made their way to the river. I know they see a lot of people out here but they still have curiosity. They just walked up the trail and checked me out. I didn’t think I looked that bad?
