After camping in Mountain Home, Idaho I headed west along Interstate 84 to Boise, Idaho and turned north on Hwy 55. This was a great ride. I loved the twisty road as it follows the river most of the way north. Today was my longest riding day as I covered 498 miles. It was wonderful as the country just took my breath away. This is a photo of the sailboats on the Payette Lake where Hwy 55 and Hwy 95 meet. When I reached Grangeville I turned east and took the long-cut which looped around and connected with Hwy 12 and tehn spent the night in Lewiston, Idaho.
