I left this morning for my first long motorcycle tour. I rode into Vernal, Utah and stayed the first night there. Here is a photo of my camp. One interesting experince today was a stretch of road on Hwy 40 where the road was covered with crickets. I mean hundreds of them. I slowed down to see what they were but made the decision not to stop. Just take my word for it. The locals in Vernal say there are times when they can be really bad. I don't want to be around when that happens.
