Sandra and I took a walk to the ELC. We found ten of these guys soaring above us. I chose this image becasue of the wing span and the transparency of the wings and tail feathers. Pelicans are graceful for being souch a large bird.

Beautiful shot! I, too, like the way the light comes through the feathers. The bird is elegant.
