This image was taken back in December of 2006. Tracy and Jon invited me for a day of cross country skiing and snow shoeing near the top of Cameron Pass in north central Colorado. I snow shoed and they skied. I prefer the slower speed of the snow shoes over my uncontrolled attempts a skiing. It also allows me more opportunities to get my finger on my shutter button for images like this one. This is Jon as he came down a slope with fresh snow. Wonderful light and colors here.
