View From The Living Room

Jersey City

I'm fortunate enough to have found an apartment right on the Hudson, and this is my morning view out the living room window.

Congratulations!
The best views of the city are to be had only from the outside.

I'LL say, you're "fortunate"!
Holy cow! What an amazing view on a daily basis
I think you should set your camera up in the window and just take a PaD every day for the next , oh I dunno . . six months! and just post a gallery of how t he weather and light changes this magnificent view!!

Yes, but you get all that noisy boat traffic, the Empire State Building and all its neighbors block the rising sun, you can't see the clock on the Met Life building so you still have to wear your own watch, that lamp from the Statue of Liberty (off to your right) probably interferes with your sleep ... and I'm VERY envious of your location. I really enjoy shooting in the city.

Go ahead, rub it in.
