Carla Borton and Marlene Gomes are two very happy people. At last year's picnic they posed for a photo while on the waiting list for a transplant. Since then both received their "Gift of Life". Carla received a heart & double-lung transplant May 7, 2005 and Marlene received her double-lung transplant March 27, 2005.
