Wayne & I had taken a drive around the park, when we noticed this killdeer. Well needless to say, it spotted us as well. The killdeer must have thought we were some sort of threat (we were in the car) because it started doing it's little "I'm hurt so try to catch me" act. In an attempt at leading us away from it's nest.
Neither Wayne nor I had ever seen one do this (though we both knew what it was about)So I got out the camera & snapped many shots. These are the best of the lot
