My dog Tahoka

Vets office

This is what happens when a Jack Russell corners a porcupine in a culvert. It took 4 trips to the vet. After a few days unseen quills would migrate to the surface. I even pulled a couple that appeared after the 4th trip to the vet. This was the worst case our vet had ever seen where the dog lived. I think she may have been developing a morphine habit.

Poor pooch. I hope you took him to a veterinarian clinic where they could anesthesize him & remove these barbs & give him some drugs such as cortico steroids & antibiotics.

Oh my God! Poor thing. Looks like his eyes are ok, at least. Doesn't look like a happy guy. Must have taken hours and hours to remove all this. I guess it's a good capture, 'cause I sure feel his pain.
