Indeed I do ride in various motorcycle competitions around the world. My brother Mark and I competed in an event called the Targa Newfoundland last September in a Mitsubishi car and I rode a Rally in Mongolia last August on a Honda motorcycle. I call my work at Cycle Canada magazine my job and you can read about the Mongolian adventure in the February 2006 issue.
I am married and my wife Francoise and I have a 10 year old daughter named Mia. Francoise is a dentist and we live and work in Georgetown, Ontario. If people want to see photos visit www.billpetro.ca the username is rallyworld and the password is my last name. There you can see 96 photos from the Mongolian rally.
On other news I am working on completing a book about my participation in the 2001 Paris Dakar rally and hope to have it published and for sale by next Christmas. Progress on that is going well.
Iím glad youíre keeping everyone of the RAPP group together and it would be brilliant if everyone posted their stories. I believe the experience as young people in India set us all on interesting paths for our lives.
