Bill Tranter was the head teacher at the school in RAPP from 1970-72. He continued his teaching career after returning to Canada and is now working for a training consultancy firm in Toronto. He returned to RAPP for a visit in the late 1990s. Marg Tranter filled in as a teacher towards the latter part of our stay at RAPP when the 1971 Indo-Pakistani war forced the other teacher to leave. She is now retired and living in Cambridge, Ontario. She had made several trips to Africa sightseeing and doing volunteer work. David Tranter teaches Psychology at Lakehead University in Thunder Bay Ontario, recently received his Ph.D., and has three children. Linda Tranter is a practising lawyer and lives in Carleton Place, Ontario (near Ottawa) and has two young children. Jeff Tranter is a manager at a software company in Ottawa, Ontario and is married with two children who are in university. He returned to India for a business trip in 2004.
