The Alzette River in the Valey of the Grund. The Grund ends here and we see the village of Clausen on the right side. On left you can see the Fortress of Sigfried, the only untaken fortress in Europe that resisted to all agressors. This fortress is the basic Seat of the Family of Siegfried that has been used to write the Niebelungen Story. The City of Luxemburg is more then 1000 years old (963 a JC.
