I tend to use altered cameras as opposed to front-screw Infrared filters because of the shutter speed difference. I've tried out IR photog on a borrowed Canon S90 with a IR72 job from Hong Kong. I liked the results so much I recently had my G12 taken in to LifePixel to alter also to IR72. (maybe I'll learn more about IR655 later when I've had more practice.)
