Fresno's Forestiere Underground Garden, California

Not many people know there is an underground garden in Fresno, California. Visiting this garden taught all of us a valuable lesson in life: the determination and accomplishment of a single human being is unimaginable. It was built single-handedly in the early 1900s' by a Sicilian immigrant named Baldassare Forestiere, a self-taught artist / architect / engineer / Horticulturist / builder, 1879-1946.
