La Pause. A most unpromising looking place. But we ate there both nights we were in
Gordes, and, speaking for myself at least, the proprietor served the most enjoyable meals
of our trip. There were four tables inside, but when two were occupied, he declared the
restaurant complet. If you go to Gordes, and if La Pause is still there, just know that
even though it probably had fewer than three Michelin stars, it deserved three stars
of some kind, for sure. Enjoy!
