Utah

Until 2016, for me, Utah was mostly a state to drive through en route to Arizona, Nevada, or Colorado. In recent years,
I've begun enjoying special spots: Capitol Reef National Park, where I have camped and hiked during precious, short weekends in autumn and early spring;
Brighton, the setting for a summer contra dance weekend with folks from 7 states; Zion National Park, whose lower and higher elevation entrances
have showed us such different, glorious late winter views, and the area around what used to be a highway rest area just south of St. George.

In the fall of 2016, a small party of us enjoyed two weeks' travel (and an even smaller party, another two weeks' roaming)
throughout the parklands of southern Utah, adding several subgalleries to this one. Now we usually travel a more northern route getting to California.
