Smelt Sands State Park

This piece of the coastline has rocks, productive tidal pools, gray sand, and when we visited, magnificent driftwood logs and stumps. A fine trail, a reclaimed roadway, parallels the coastline, giving people opportunities for safe viewing of the birds and the wave activity.
