Davis Mountains State Park

With sites for a hundred sets of campers from walk-in backpackers to upscale Class A motorhome travelers, this park is a gem,
set in the volcanic Davis Mountains next door to Indian Lodge State Park and within sight of McDonald Observatory about a half-hour away.
Make your reservations online well in advance of your intended arrival. And say hey to the park staff; we do miss our DMSP family!
