Carlsbad Caverns National Park

I had been here before, nearly 40 years ago, and didn't really want to visit again--except that I needed photos for my
'75 national parks by age 75' project. And of course it turned out that I was glad to see it again. When I finally figured out
that I could stop the flash from over-illuminating the cavern scenes I chose, I was a happy camper. I was happy, too,
to learn about the side trips in other areas of the park that summer visitors see while awaiting the spectacular bat flyout at sunset.
