Along Interstate Hwy. 395 in eastern Oregon, it's good to find ANY reasonable excuse to stop driving, and this place is a good one. So few people visit that it isn't normally tracked, trampled or trashed as so many other places are. I enjoy the patterns made by the play of wind on the sand.
