All Saints in the snow, Martock

Martock, Somerset

I woke up this morning and it was snowing! REALLY snowing. So I hurried up and got dressed and picked up my camera bag to get out there and take some pictures of this unusual sight!! But, by the time I was ready, it had virtually stopped! And by the time I got to the old church, it had stopped completely…

But there was snow on the ground, so I still took a few pic's and eagerly downloaded them. The one of the church came out nicely and I thought, 'what a shame it had stopped snowing." And then I had an idea. So I booted up iTunes and started playing 'Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow…' ~ and guess what happened?!!!!

You're right. My wife told me to switch it off, 'cause it was far to early to be playin' that kind of stuff!!

So, the miracle I had hoped for didn't happen! Which meant that I just had to take the shot into Photoshop and make it snow myself!!

I hope you like it!

Thanks for looking!

Chris

Lovely story, your wife and the music bit made me laugh :) My camera and I were at a-ready today also...but no snow in London as yet :( By the sound of things, if they are right, we'll all have plenty of snow this winter! Very pretty picture chris, photoshoped or not.
