My first ever 'comma', Tintinhull Gardens, Somerset

…but, actually, it's so quiet you can hear the comma drinking it's way to a full-stop!

Explanation! : This is a 'comma' butterfly ~ the first I've ever seen. It was flying around in a the same garden that I took my last upload and then landed on this flower and started to take a drink. The 'noisy' bit is another (awful) play on words, as I predict someone will probably point out the amount of 'noise' in the picture…

But it isn't 'noise'. It's the result of a sandstone texturizing filter that I applied in PS CS in order to further enhance the painterly look of this image…

Phew! So with all that said, I hope you enjoy the shot!!

Lovely shot with just wonderful colour. I shall be in Somerset next week - will have to look out for those gardens, though I fear rain is forecast for most of my stay.
