Firecrest, Martock churchyard

Martock, Somerset view map

Firecrests are the UK's second smallest bird, after it's near cousin, the Goldcrest.
I spotted this one in a spindly tree and it was jumping around like there was no tomorrow.
It was so difficult to focus because of its very quick movements and the share number of twigs and branches.
I took 60 shots and eventually came home with one I was happy with!
