This farm near Stanley has about 3000 sheep, several well-trained
sheep-herding dogs, and a variety of horses. The black chunks
in the foreground are peat, a traditional heating material.

Tourism has added much needed income to these farm
families as polar cruise ships make stops in Stanley.
