Travel by dog sled is common during winter. These dogs are not
pets and are described as partially wild animals that are about
one-third wolf. During the warm season, these dogs are kept on
this island so they need not be tied up but will still not run away.
Food is brought to the island for them. Here, the dogs are
attracted by our underwater photographers.
