The Baja California peninsula is composed of two Mexican states,
Baja California and Baja California Sur (south) although many Americans
call the entire peninsula, Baja California. Connected to the San Diego
region in the north and separated from the Mexican mainland by the
Sea of Cortez (also called the Gulf of California), the peninsula offers
both ecotourism and the resort life of Cabo San Lucas;
we chose the ecotourism.
