Wow, I met my opposite ... he's got hair where I don't have any and no hair where I have some! It's actually quite another story, very traditional. When Europeans (France) discovered Canada (1534), the very first people they met where a Nation called Huron Wendat. They almost all died from diseases that the Europeans had brought with them, measles, common cold etc. and towards which, the Hurons had no immunity at all since they had never been in contact with that in the past. But with time, they are still around and prospering here in Wendake, Quebec City. They have a touristic place to show their traditions, crafts etc. and this guy was there. The hairdo is quite traditional to them ... they are often seen with a bird feather attached to their hair.
