Xmas 2010 was a special event in a number of ways. It was the first Xmas in four years that both Nick and Rox were home together for Xmas. In the meantime, Nick has married and both he and his Canadian wife, Allie have been in Johannesburg since October 2010 in preparation for their planned move to Cape Town early in 2011. We were joined by my father Frans, sister Anita, her daughter Paula and husband Darrel as well as Darrel's Mom Wendy.

Allie's parents, Denise and Jose and her brother, Ben flew into South Africa just before Xmas for a whirlwind tour and were also part of the party as were my brother in law Gavin and nephew Robert on holiday from their home in San Francisco to spend some time with my father and Gavin's sister Elaine.

In addition our friends Bev and Steve with their son William who are currently living in the UK were also with us for a brief stay.

So a full house. It was a lot of fun and a very special and memorable occassion.
