Thousands of Bikers ride US highway 129 every week to the Deals Gap Motorcycle Resort located near the Tennessee/ North Carolina state line. This section of the highway is also known as "The Dragon" This road near the spine of some Tennessee mountains has 318 curves in eleven miles. The road has a standing order for around eight bikers each year. (Around eight are killed each year from dragon accidents)
