Journey behind the Falls is in the Table Rock Welcome Centre. There are elevators that descend to the base of the Horseshoe Falls.
Three tunnels lead from the elevators and provide excellent vantage points for close-up views of the thundering falls and the Niagara River.
The observation plaza is about 125 ft. below the gorge embankment and 26 ft. above the river’s edge. (See next photo)
