The weather forecast wasn't very promising -- showers, etc. -- but the day turned out to be just perfect for an early-season paddle: sunny, warm and very little wind. Six paddlers participated and saw quite a few painted turtles - -one is pictured -- plus the resident eagle made a dramatic appearance.
