My daughter Alexandria and son Austin enjoyed sitting in front of the Capitol reflecting pool. We are all having a blast in DC. We love it and are having so much fun taking the Metro down to the Smithsonian and walking our legs off from morning to early evening when it's time to leave for the hotel. Too much to see but not enough time to enjoy and see it all. We all are enjoying out time here and don't want to see it end. It's ironic that when people ask us where we are from and we tell them Virginia Beach, their antennaes go up and you would think we said we were famous actors or something of that nature. They get real jealous almost immediately and say how lucky we are. I guess we do take out great community of Virginia Beach for granted without realizing it. I love this area as I grew up here for the first 10 years of my life born and raised till my mom and dad divorced and I was forced to go north with my mom and my younger brother even though every year there after I visited my father who work over 30 years of his life for the railroad (AMTRACK) every Christmas and summer break we got. These are family momentos. and taken by me for just that! Momentos.
