Jerusalem Landmarks

You vas expectink maybe the Dome of the Rock?

This unexpected sight came into my vision as I sat looking out the window at a cafe close to my hotel. It seems so bizzarly out of place, I had to get the image.
As for whether we shot this in Holland? Notice the minaret below the lower right sail.

Montefiore Windmill
In 1860, the British philanthropist Moses Montefiore built new housing on a hill overlooking the Old City to help relieve the congestion and poverty in the Jewish Quarter.
This area is called Yemin Moshe.
The windmill was originally built to serve the milling needs of the residents of Montefiore's new developments, but it never became operational because of the lack of wind where it was situated.

To me Mark it seems oddly at home there! Beautiful shot, as always.

I wonder if whoever designed the lighting for this is a photographer? It's wonderful.

It's a great night shot. The P5100 worked very good for this.
