The springbok was killed the previous night by an irresponsible driver going way too fast. The marabou was there first and laid claim to the springbok, when a hungry jackal tried to get a bite too, but the marabou was not having any of it.

It is incredible how fast the marabou can open and close its beak - it sounds like castanets being played very fast.
