Volcan Uturuncu, 2011

Geophysical survey at Volcan Uturuncu, Bolivia, using Phoenix Geophysics MT systems.
This volcano is unique in the Andes because it has been continually inflating over the last 20 years, at about 1 cm per year.

The summit is at 6008 m, but it is an easy walk to the top, since there is a road to 5800 m in the saddle.
