TIPNIS March (2011)

TIPNIS is an area of the Amazon Rain forest in eastern Bolivia. Government plans to build a road through the area led to a protest march from Tipnis to La Paz. These photos are from the day the march crossed the 4500 m pass in the Cordillera Real (October 17 2011) and the day they arrived in La Paz (October 19 2011)
