GALLERY ::Chasing the Light - Moab, Utah 2006::


My last visit to Moab was with my wife in July of 2005 - It was hot (108°) and I vowed to go back in better weather. This trip with fellow photographer Phil Douglis ( https://pbase.com/favorites/pnd1 ) was a glorious exercise is searching for light, the element that makes the drama of Moab sing. Moab is surrounded by 2 National Parks (Arches and Canyonland) and the Colorado River Waterway. Phil and I tried to be out for morning and evening light each of the days we were there. The weather was a comfortable temperature during our late September visit.
