Bustle
Singapore, September 2007


This is a "walk-by." I took it as we were walking through the subway station. In many ways it symbolizes the visit to Singapore for me. Two days was not enough. It was all a whirr. And, it symbolizes the hustle and bustle of the city.

This is a stunning expression of our whirlwind tour of Singapore - the blur motion reminds me how speedily we covered this island nation, and the the wonderful burst of colour speaks of the energy and diversity of culture and contrasts of Singapore for me. Certainly one of my favourites from this gallery Tim!

I love this image, Tim -- the way both the people and the mural move in unison is dazzling. And yes, it did go by in a blur. You really can't see Singapore in a couple of days, but we did cover a lot of ground.
