This image is purely Chinese -- right down to the beer advertised on the lantern. Your reflection superimposes symbol on symbol here -- it would be wonderful if we could also get a feeling for what is being communicated in the reflected letter on the window and on the signs in the background. Right now the Chinese characters symbolize a culture. But the nature of the products and services being communicated here would change the image's meaning if we could understand them.
