An amazing street image -- the incongruous relationship of the visible man to the four abstracted figures is striking, and so is the geometric organization of this image. I love the way it flows horizontally and rhythmically through the steps and the wide frame, while at the same time abruptly interrupted by the vertical door and the pole. I love the way the door and the man at left are chopped off vertically as well. A tremendous shot.
