How historically interesting that Carol sees the Chrysler logo as a crucifix. In the 19th Century, the huge, unregulated, wealthy corporations were elevated to the status of a religion. Relative to this, Andrew Carnegie wrote of the Gospel of Wealth. In your image the "Gospel" is corroded, peeling and in great need of a restoration. Like your image, the current economic crisis puts a new focus on this need.
I see time itself expressed in the textures here -- it is obvious that the car had one been repainted, and its past seems to be revealed here amidst the corroding present. As for the future, if someone ever should restore this car, they would strip the old layers of paint down to the metal, and start all over again. Such is cycle of life itself.

Eroding old truck surfaces are wonderful for images that you may decide for yourself what you see. Here I see a spout with a liquid, possibly some fuel pouring into the top of a crucifix! The crackly textures add to the mystery as well. The colors seem dawn-like. I wonder what others sees in this image.
