The overpowering force of nature in this image renders man small and insignificant.

It is interesting how the falls almost appear to have a mirror image of itself....nearly symmetrical. I also love the bright blue glow in the water from rushing water emptying into it.

I especially like the branches on the right, they remind me of fingers.

The tiny figure of the fisherman in the yellow jacket expresses scale and energizes the image. We were shooting this scene simultaneously and saw it differently, as usual -- you stress the majesty of the falls with a wideangle approach, while my own interpretation offered less of the falls and more stress on the person to emphasize man's relationship to nature at:http://www.pbase.com/pnd1/image/103637677 )
