My favorite horse image in this gallery -- the way the wind blows its mane suggests the rugged life it must lead. I love the way the folds in the horses coat along the neck rhythmically echo the flow of hair from the mane. The horse turns its head into the wind, as if to relish it. A wonderful animal portrait.
