Everything comes together in this magnificent image. The name of this very lake echoes your own expertise in photographing fallen leaves. This particular fallen leaf is snared by a stick, and simultaneously whipped by the rapid flow of the multi-hued water. I love the way fury of the water is echoed by the blurred milky background layer that features more sticks, leaning in the other direction. It is a study in naturally opposing tensions that fascinates the mind and pulls the eye.
