This image reminds me of the friendships that have nourished me throughout my life. In this case I think about my friendship with the photographer and teacher Phil Douglis. Those who know us know which weed is which. (I am the more rotund one.) Thanks to the friends in my life.

I wish I was as thin as you make out to be here, Tim. I am touched by this metaphor, and by your symbolic gesture, and yes, I see my lean twig reaching out to congratulate your somewhat less than lean twig.
