I do remember the schoolgirls on bicycles on their way to or from their school in their starchy whites. Soon that will all be gone, with everyday dress the norm. You are right, the Vietnam of the past is disappearing so quickly and will soon be just another place like every place else. I was glad that I was able to witness some of the old-school ways of the Vietnamese, and I'm sure that you feel the same. So you could say these girls are indeed quickly scurrying into the future in a blur of time.
