The source file here is a structured graphic, printed and then scanned to see what sort of 'pseudo dot gain' occurs from ink bleed and splatter.
Superimposed at 720 ppi is a snippet of a Photoshop rasterized bitmap from that same original vector file.
Tone balanced for comparison purposes using X-Rite Color Checker values approximating 'print black' (52 52 52) and 'print white' (243 243 242).
