This Sycamore tree housed some 27 nests (12 with GBH tending) during our (wife & dog) morning birding walk at The Retreat at Cool Spring.
Just more reason for me to prefer the Sycamore Tree - - this tree species is amazing to me!
The tree was across the Shenandoah River in a heavily wooded area.
