Eastern Bluebird (Immature)

Lake Frederick, Virginia

Put up one bluebird box since moving into this 55+ community last August. This 1st breeding season for a pair of 'backyard' bluebirds has produced three nestings.
Six fledged late May; five fledged early June; and six more are currently in the same bluebird box.
Seventeen total - - this pair of bluebirds spends the entire day catching bugs! This little one is from batch two.
